What is Reddit?
Basically Reddit.com is what is known as a social news website. At Reddit people post links to content they enjoy which they find online.
The viral nature of Reddit.com is the other people who visit the site can vote the links upward or downward, which will of course either feature them prominently, or dump them to dust.
The sites’ social aspect comes in the discussion rooms where people can chat about the posted resources. they can also vote on other peoples comments. If a comment receives too many negative votes the comment will no longer be displayed.
Reddit has also learned that sub directory’s will work in drawing visitors directly into niche subjects such as politics, programming and some guy named Joel on software.
